About

Hi everybody, my name is Jason Hardwell. I’m a desk jockey doing the 9 to 5 in the city of angels.

When I was a young boy, I had a really tough time with the 8 hour work day. Especially because the 8 hour work day soon turned into 10+ hour work days. But I grew up and got used to it.

Let’s face it: living the cubicle life is hard. It’s damn hard. You won’t last if you don’t find a way to make it somehow pleasant to yourself. That’s the whole reason I set up this blog. I want to use this as a place to vent, but also to review lots of nifty stuff for your desk.

If you’re going to be a desk dweller for life, you might as well do it right. Anything worth doing is worth doing right, come to think of it.

Despite being trapped in the rat race, my life isn’t all bad. I have a really nice girlfriend. Her name is Linda. She’s asked me to protect her privacy, so I can’t show you a photo of her. And no, she’s not on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

I’ve recently started this site and I already have a post up. It’s about magnifying lamps. In my line of work, I often have to read fine print. Very fine print. My eye sight isn’t the best, since I spent lots of my younger years staring at a screen and not getting enough sunlight. So a magnifying lamp it is!

For far too long, I’ve lived without one. Once I finally had one, I asked myself why I didn’t get one earlier. It really is a life saver.

But I know of many more nifty stuff for your desk. And it’s all going to be posted here on my new Desk Dweller website. I’m planning on having a section up on here where people get to tell their most horrible office stories. That should be fun!

So please be sure to bookmark my site and to come back for another visit soon.
